Madiha
Madiha Beach is one of the few remaining hidden gems along the Sri Lankan south coast. This sleepy beach town defined by its small sandy coves, and empty beaches are a throwback to the coastlines that made Sri Lanka such a famous beach destination.
While Madiha may be a quiet town, it’s not entirely deserted. There are just enough cafes, beach bars, restaurants and people to create an amazing chilled vibe, without feeling overcrowded like some other spots along the coast.
While the nearest spots offer great surf for more experienced riders, Madiha is also close to the more beginner-friendly Weligama Beach and SK Town, making it an ideal, laid-back base that’s – dare we say – more picturesque than its neighbors.
